November 4, 1960 - February 17, 2015
David Anthony Flerl, age 54, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. He was a longtime member of Rechoboth Baptist Church. David enjoyed wood and metal fabrication, he was a member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 43 for over thirty years, and was employed by TVA at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant for the last six years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Theo Flerl and Lorene Flerl.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Nancy Flerl; son, Joshua David Flerl; daughters, Sarah Elizabeth (Stephen) Mayes, Hannah Marie Flerl; brother, John (Sandra) Flerl; sister, Linda Carroll; he is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Our family would like to thank Rechoboth Baptist Church and Pilgrims Rest Church for all their prayers, cards and love shown to us during this very difficult past year. We would also like to thank Dr. Ghandi, Dr. Golden, Parkridge Hospital and Hospice and their staff for the great care and true concern and compassion they showed to me and my family. Also, our family wants to thank everyone at TVA for their thoughts, prayers, phone calls, visits, donated time and their generosity. Words cannot express our gratitude, may God bless you all.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Thursday and 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Ewton, Brian McBrayar, Brian Miller, Tim Hartman, Mark Skinner and Mike Wallace.
