PARTON EDWARD NEAL age 71 of 403 Spears Ave in Chattanooga died- in a local hospital Thursday morning He was an employee of the Chattanooga Box Co for the past 19 years. He was a lifelong resident of Hamilton County and a former resident of Soddy, Tenn He was a member of the Oak Street Baptist Church of Soddy. Survivors are his wife Mrd Winnie Parton; two daughters Mrs Billy Vandergriff of Hixson, Tenn and Mrs Delbert Cude of Memphis; three brothers? Bob Parton of Chattanooga: Sam Parton of Soddy and Grady Parton of Daisy; three sisters, Mrs Rebecca Jenkins of Soddy: Mrs Callie McDonald of Texas and Mrs Bertha Coppinger of Sale Creek, Tenn and" four grandchildren. Funerel services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, the Rev Paul Huling and Roy Eldridge officiating. Interment in Hamilton County Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be W. H. Young, Joe Vandergriff, Howard Nichols, Lewis Reno James Manning and Billy Powers. Honorary pqllbearers will be employees of Chattanooga Box and Lumber Co. The body will be at the church one hour before the service. It is now at the residence of the daughter Mrs Billy Vandergriff on Ely Road, Hixson Rt 4. Arrangements are by the Williamson Funeral Home, Soddy.
