RINGGOLD, GA - Zane Wallace Duran, 70, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga Area and was a member of Calvary Life Pentecostal Church, Ooltewah, TN.
Zane was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Zane was preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Sarah Goodwin Duran; son, Jeffery Lynn Duran; sister, Clarice Cartwright; and brother, Jimmy Duran.
He is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Lorraine Duran; daughter, Lisa (Todd) Harris of Ringgold, GA; siblings, Roy Duran of Decatur, TN, Opal Shannon of Ooltewah, TN and "Doc" Duran of Sweetwater, TN; grandchildren, Courtney and Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Bob Willerson and Bro. Larry Burrows officiating.
Interment will follow in Grasshopper Cemetery, Birchwood, TN.
The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. today and prior to the service on Thursday.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
