Robbinsville - Faset J. Jenkins, 92, of Meadow Branch community in Robbinsville, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at his residence.
A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late James Phillip and Della Mae Millsaps Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Larry Jenkins and Gary Jenkins. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Marines.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Oneal J. Jenkins; sons, R.D. Jenkins of Woodstock, Ga., and David B. Jenkins of Maryville, Tenn.; daughters, Violet Williams, Leona Beasley and Amy Dockery, all of Robbinsville; and brother, Geter Jenkins, Maryville. He has 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Townson-Smith Chapel. The Revs. Daniel Stewart and Onley Williams will officiate with Masonic Rites provided by Robbinsville Masonic Lodge #672.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel, prior to the service.
A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Yellow Branch Cemetery with a flag presentation by Carringer-Webster Post 8635 and Eller Rogers Post 192.
