COLUMBIA - Graveside service for Margaret Bolding Cooper, 90, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
Mrs. Cooper died Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Perry Alfred Bolding and Carrie Lee Garrison. Mrs. Cooper was a graduate of Anderson High School for Girls and Spartanburg Junior College. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, devoting her life to her four children and sisters, Frances and Peggy. Mrs. Cooper was an active member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and Kilbourne Park Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Michael Cooper (Sherry) of Greenville, Randy Cooper (Susan) of Greenville, Kerry Cooper (Amy) of Waxhaw, NC, Vickie Pearce (Ed) of Columbia; grandchildren, Desiree, Michele, Michael, Hampton, Luke, Tradd, Ashley, Nicole, Amy, Matthew, Justin; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Sam Franklin Cooper, Jr.; siblings, Roy, Clyde, Bill, Ruth, Frances, Carolyn, Lucy, and Peggy.
