Wanda Lou Whaley,
78, of Butler, formerly of Falmouth, passed away on Friday, February 04, 2011, at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler. Born in Pendleton County, Kentucky, on January 28, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Elijah and Gracie Showalter Galloway. A graduate of the Morgan High School, she was the retired owner of the former Falmouth Florist and a member of the Falmouth United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dora Inez Blackburn on February 11, 1992.
She is survived by her son, Mike (Debbie) Whaley of Falmouth; 2 granddaughters: Marcie and Kelsie Whaley; and her brother, Melvin Galloway of Lexington; two nieces: Barbara King and Linda Grizzell.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, February 7, 2011, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. The visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
