[S14] Obituary. Doris I. Faust IDA GROVE, Iowa Doris I. Faust, 81, of Ida Grove, formerly of Brookings, S.D., died Thursday, Jan. 6,-1994, at Morningside Care Center in Ida Grove. Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m.; Saturday at the Christensen-Ciha- Funeral Home in Ida Grove with the Rev. Andrew Currao and the Rev.Xleo Kautsch, of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ida Grove, officiating. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Rude's Funeral Home in Brookings. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Brookings. Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Brookings. Mrs. Faust was born Sept. 23, 1912, in Brookings County, S.D., the daughter of Ben and Julia fTrygstad) Sinjem. She graduated from Brookings High School in 1932. She married Bernard L. Faust June 1, 1938, in Brookings. He died Nov. 19, 1977. She was employed at the South Dakota" State University Library from 1960 until her retirement in 1977. She moved to Ida Grove to the care center in August 1992 to be near her daughter and family. Mrs. Faust was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Brookings. .Survivors include four daughters, Nancy Palmer of Waterloo, Iowa, Julianne and her husband, Nels Moats of Colorado Springs, Helen and her husband, Dennis Fouts of Ppeblo West, Colo., and Barbara and her husband, James Jenkins of Ida Grove; 12 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; two sisters, Ruth and Opal Sinjem of Brookings; and several nieces and nephews. 1 She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Robert Sinjem and a son-in-law, Jack Palmer.
