Virginia Estelle Cummins, age 92, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, a former 70-year resident of Pendleton County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 12, 2008, at Grand Haven Nursing Home, in Cynthiana. She was born in Pendleton County on September 23, 1915, a daughter of the late D.B. and Elsie Woods Blades. She was a homemaker and an 80-plus-year member of the Richland Baptist Church, in Harrison County.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles William Cummins, in 1973; a daughter, Doris Ann Cummins, in infancy; a brother, Chester Blades; and a sister, Velma Withers. Surviving are: four daughters, Donna (Ray) Utley, of Cynthiana, Carol (Donald) Ammerman, of Athens, Tennessee, Elsie (Charles) Anderson, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mary Glasscock, of Cynthiana; a son, Charles (Loretta) Cummins, of Falmouth; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
