Richard Showalter
Richard K. "Hap" Showalter, 82, Hanover, Pa., died Saturday, July 1, 1995, at his home. He was self-employed as an owner and trainer of thoroughbred race horses. He also was a blacksmith for Hanover Shoe Farms for 11 years. He is survived by his wife, Florence; brother, Raymond Showalter of Cuyahoga Falls; sister, Regina Campbell of Plainfield, Ind.; son, Gary L. Showalter of Spring Grove, Pa.; daughter, Kathy Clinebell of Pine, Ariz; and five grandchildren. . Private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Hanover-Spring Grove Hospice, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, Pa. 17331.
