AVERILL PARK - Ann E. Muellecker, 84, of Bauer Road, died on Sunday, March 1, 2009, after a long illness. Funeral Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Henry’s Church in Averill Park. Calling at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake-Averill Park on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. Donations may be made to the Taborton Fire Co., PO Box 295, Sand Lake, NY 12153, or the Sand Lake Ambulance, PO Box 222, West Sand Lake, NY 12196.

AVERILL PARK Ann E. Muellecker, 84, of Bauer Road died on Sunday, March 1, 2009, at the Evergreen Commons Nursing Facility after a long illness. Born and raised in Troy, Ann was the daughter of the late Philip and Elizabeth Rosney and wife of the late Eric J. Muellecker Sr. Ann was a graduate of St. Joseph's School in South Troy and was a 1942 graduate of Catholic Central High School. Ann went to work at the switchboard of the Park Laundry which is where she met Eric. They were married on July 29, 1944, a union that lasted almost 54 years until his death on June 10, 1998. Ann looked forward to the month of May every year and camping at Port Henry on Lake Champlain. Ann and Eric spent over 40 years there and Ann continued to camp after his death. Ann was a life member of the Taborton Fire Company, was a member of the "Tin Horns and Calico" Home Bureau in Dunham Hollow and was a former member of the Dunham Hollow-West Stephentown Community Assoc. Ann was the sister of the late Mary T. and John F. Rosney. Survivors include her children, Mary Ann (Allan) Lindell of Averill Park, Phyllis Rounds (Tony Dimaggio) of Hoosick Falls, Christine Muellecker of Clifton Park, Eric (Josephine) Muellecker Jr. of Troy, Patricia Kaiser (Mike Brown), Lisa (Jay) Ernest and George (Tia) Muellecker, all of Averill Park; a sister, Margaret (John) Bateman of Watervliet; a brother, Philip (Joan) Rosney of Skaneateles; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann's family wishes to thank the staff on 2 Greenbush at Evergreen Commons for the care and compassion given to Ann and her family. Funeral, Thursday 9:30 a.m. at St. Henry's Church, Co. Rte. 45, Averill Park, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake on Wednesday 3-7 p.m. Interment, St. Henry's Cemetery.
