BIOGRAPHY: Christine Muellecker: My Grandfather George bought the farm on April 16, 1920 for $2,500! I have a poster from the auction that they had here prior to the purchase of all the "stuff" the previous owners William and Clementine Schaus wanted to get rid of.

Howard Cemetery, No 15 Warren Broderick 2.2 miles north of Route 32, on the west side of Baur/Hoffman Roads, 3 miles north of the northern junction of these two roads; in 2000, it was on the Muellecker property, formerly the Schaus property.

The Troy Record, Saturday Morning, June 5, 1943
George Muellecker, well-known farmer in the Alps region, died early Thursday of a heart ailment. He had been under the care of Dr. Henry F. Albrecht for some time. A native of Germany he had lived at Alps for thirty years, coming there from New York City. He was acommunicant of St. Henry's Church, and active in its affairs. His wife, the former Magdalena Engel, predeceased him. Survivors are Richard G. and Eric J., both of Alps, and a brother, August Muellecker. The funeral will be conducted from the Daniel D. Purcell & Son Funeral Home, 489 Pawling Avenue, today at 9 a.m. and from St. Henry's Church at 9.30 a.m. with a requiem mass.
