AKREN, Sophie Charlotte, wife of Joseph A., mother of Carolyn, Joseph Jr, John Thomas and Jerry Martin; daughter of Mr & Mrs John Karkanen; brother of Waine Karkanen; also four other brothers and sisters in Michigan; passed away yesterday morning. Services conducted by the Rev. I. M. Ellis will be Tuesday, 4 p. m., from the Memory Chapel of A. L. Moore and Sons. Interment in Greenwood.
