Duane L. Lindenmeyer

Duane L. Lindenmeyer, 70, Ellsworth, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Ellsworth County Medical Center.
He was born April 27, 1934, in Salina to Fred and Rachel (DeWald) Lindenmeyer.
He married Sharon Smysor on June 6, 1965, in Ellsworth. He was a retired teacher, having taught at Ellsworth High School for 36 years and employed by St. Francis Academy for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Daniel G. Lindenmeyer, Newton, and R. Scott Lindenmeyer, WaKeeney; a daughter, Karen Ann Hunter, Vero Beach, Fla.; three brothers, Robert Lindenmeyer, Salina, Chester Lindenmeyer, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Fred Lindenmeyer, Hutchinson; a sister, Ruth Yandle, San Jose, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Ellsworth; burial at 3 p.m. Saturday at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Francis Academy or United Methodist Church.
