Anna Elizabeth Barker, 84, of 3016 Dresden Drive, passed away May 28, 2008, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 25, 1924, in Gaston County, daughter of the late George Flowe Hoffman and Nina Moten Hoffman.
Mrs. Barker was a loving mother, grandmother and caretaker to all.
Survivors include her daughter, Anita Barker and companion, Lloyd of Gastonia; sons, Edward Barker and wife, Betty of Clover, S.C., Larry Barker and Theresa of Gastonia, Jeffrey Barker and Ella of Bessemer City; sister and brother-in-law, Elise and Leroy Gulledge of Gastonia; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; two honorary grandchildren, Deedee and Richie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coburn Elice Barker; son, Coburn Keith Barker; and sister, Betty Thelma Ledford.
