Harold Wright, 83, of Falmouth, died Saturday at Wesley Hall Nursing Home, Cincinnati. He served as Pendleton County sheriff from 1974-78, having spent the previous four years as a deputy, and retired from the state prosecutor's office. His first wife, Gertrude Wright, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Yelton Wright; sons, Dicky Wright of Falmouth and Gary Wright of Lexington; a stepdaughter, Donna Reis of Falmouth; brothers, Melvin Wright, Ralph Wright, J.W. Wright, Alva Lee Wright and Larry Wright, all of Falmouth; sisters, June Kwaitkowski of Tucson, Ariz., Thelma Agoeian of Paris, France, Betty Ammerman of Falmouth and Josie Starr of Sandusky, Ohio; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
