Arthur Mason Showalter, 94, of Lawrenceburg, retired supervisor at Texas Instruments and a farmer, husband of Ann Kincaid Showalter, died Monday, August 31 at Cambridge Square Nursing Home.
Born in Felicity, Ohio, he was a son of the late George and Maggie Kabler Showalter, was a member of Glenn?s Creek Baptist Church and had attended Central Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg.
Art was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde Showalter and Melborne Showalter, one sister, Catherine Mary Boyer, a step-daughter, Wilma Donnell, and three grandsons, Scott Mason Showalter, James D. Hamilton, and Ray Allen Donnell Jr.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of 38 years, include a daughter, Anita Smith of Versailles, two sons, Mason (Molly Ann) Showalter of Versailles and Carl Showalter of Scott Co., four step children, James (Gloria) Donnell, Barbara (Darrell) Hamilton, Ray A. (Jayne) Donnell, and Mary A. (Fred) Faust, all of Versailles, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Rose Crest Cemetery, Versailles, Kentucky.
