Mrs. Helen Griffin BRYSON CITY - Mrs Helen Ledford Griffin, 42, of Union Grove, Ala., formerly of Bryson City, died Sunday afternoon in a Huntsville Ala. hospital after a short illness. Surviving are the husband. Paul L. Griffin: a son. Randall and a daughter, Paula of the home; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Ledford of Bryson City: two brothers Charles of Bryson City and Harold Ledford of Mebane; four sisters, Mrs. Willard Grant of Asheville, Mrs. Johnny Parks of Elkin and Mrs. Peggy Smith and Mrs. C. C. Carson Jr., both of Hamilton, Va. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The Rev. Ray Cates will officiate. Burial will be in Swain Memorial Park Cemetery.
