died Monday morning at the residence, 1200 North Orchard Knob Avenue. He is survived :bv nine daughters.. Mrs. W. H. Whalen, Mrs. Suddle Levi, Mrs. Maggie Reno, Mrs. Winnie Pardon, Mrs. Effie McDaniels, Mrs. Lottie West, Mrs. Bessie Stephenson, Mrs.Viola Griffin and Mrs. Lizzie Byous; three sons.Robert, Floyd and Luther Manning; two stepsons, Johnie, Charles Shackleford; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Roy Framer and Mrs Rosie Johnson; 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the South Daisy Baptist Church, with Rev. W. E. Harris conducting. Burial will be in Henslev Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons Clarence Manning, F. B. Manning Jr., Raymond Whallen, James Manning, C. F. Griffin Jr. and Lewis Reno. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Shadwlck. Bill Williams. Oscar Rentfro, Clark Morgan. Jim Carden and W. W. Norman Sr. The body is at the residence of his son, Robert Manning, on Porter Street. Daisy, Tenn. Arrangements are by the National Funeral Home.
