She was a member of Spring City Church of God. She was a tremendous grandmother and loved her church dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Margie Horne. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Basil W. Jenkins; son, Sam (Patti) Jenkins, of Hixson; daughters, Teresa (Gary) Chapman, Tammy (Chandra) Mauandhar, both of Soddy-Daisy; brother, Johnny (Carolyn) Horne, of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Doris (W.R.) Womack, of Soddy-Daisy, Brenda (Jim) Buchanan, of Augusta, Ga., Donna (Barry) Clouse, of Cookeville, Tenn., Connie (Carl) Shaw, of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Megan, Hannah, Laura, and Libby Jenkins, Matthew and Joshua Chapman, Rachel and Benjamin Mauandhar. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Andy Thompson officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
